When we launched Equal Experts in 2007 in London, we wanted to do things differently from traditional consultancies. We bring together experienced engineers within a flat structure and give them the autonomy to do the right thing for our customers.
Since our early beginnings, we have been passionate about technology, XP and modern software engineering practices. Our cross-functional design and engineering teams have been delivering world-class digital products to more than 200 blue-chip companies across the globe for over 17 years.

This deep experience means we can assign smaller, more expert teams to save our customers money and upskill people as well as technology.
Once we established our advantage in expertise, we then created the structure that has kept our consultancy strong and consistent and will do so well into the future.
Becoming an Equal Experts consultant isn’t easy. We have high standards and a rigorous interview process.
Once someone joins, we do everything we can to keep them. We welcome them into our global Network where they can grow their skills and experience whether they’re involved in one of our engagements, or working elsewhere. They can gain knowledge and contribute through our Slack channels as well as enjoy development and networking at our meet-ups, conferences and co-working days.
We want all our consultants to feel like part of the team because we know we will want them back.
The Trust that owns our company is 100% collectively owned by our Network – that includes our employees, associate consultants and our customers.
We believe that to be successful for the long term, we need to succeed together. As associates, employees and customers, we all have a vested interest in making Equal Experts the best it can possibly be.
We have strong relationships with our customers – our teams work so closely with them, day to day. Like the relationships we have with our consultants, we want these to last.
So we have set up our Customer Network community. It is designed for our customers, past and present so they can grow their networks with us, form lasting relationships and learn together.
