Equal Experts is delighted to be closely involved with three projects shortlisted for a UK IT Industry Award – and nominated for another category ourselves.
The UK IT Awards represent one of the most prestigious events in the UK tech industry’s calendar, something that’s clear from the quality of all the shortlisted entries – so it’s an absolute honour to see our clients recognised in the following categories:
Workplace Transformation of the Year 2017
Our collaboration with Co-op Funeralcare is in the running for more recognition (it was a winner at the Computing Digital Technology Leaders Awards recently, where it was named Best Large Enterprise Digital Project). This work is transforming the way in which funerals are arranged within the UK’s biggest funeral provider, giving Co-op staff more time to spend with customers when they need it most.
Digital Project of the Year
This is a particularly high-profile category, and it’s where our work with Informa’s Agribusiness (part of its Business Intelligence division) has been shortlisted. Together, we’ve built a platform that allows Informa to unlock the full potential contained within its Agribusiness data, dramatically enhancing its ability to provide detailed, tailored reports to clients.
UK Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the Year
UX Forms has been shortlisted within this vibrant category. This form-building software was conceived and developed by Martin Gladdish – a former Equal Experts associate – and it was our privilege to help him bring it to market. You can read more about our involvement via this case study. Good luck to Martin!
Best Place to Work in IT 2017
We are excited that Equal Experts has been named as a finalist in the ‘best place to work’ category. This is one that we’re especially glad to be considered for; creating a happy environment for talented people to collaborate on meaningful, challenging work is high on our list of reasons to exist in the first place.
In addition to these entries, we’re thrilled to see HMRC, another Equal Experts client, recognised in several categories – including Digital Project of the Year, which HMRC has won two years running (jointly with Equal Experts in 2015). This nomination is for its API platform work. It’s also a pleasure to see people we’ve worked with gaining individual recognition – congratulations to HMRC’s Alex Browne (shortlisted for Young IT Professional of the Year) and Joanna Connew (IT Manager of the Year).
Congratulations to all our clients and fellow finalists – we look forward to hearing the results on 15th November.
