O2 and Equal Experts nominated for three MOMA Awards

We’re thrilled to have had our work with O2 nominated in three categories of this year’s Marketing on Mobile Awards (MOMAs) – organised by Europe’s biggest marketing website, The Drum.

O2 is a longstanding client of Equal Experts. The wide range of work we’ve collaborated on is reflected in the categories in which we are nominated:

Relationship Building/CRM: For our work on O2 Priority, the leading loyalty programme in the telco sector. As well as delivering the web app and popular native apps for both iOS and Android, Equal Experts designed and built the backend systems that successfully manage and target Priority’s customer offers to the right users.

Best use of Technology: O2 Priority’s ‘Wear the Rose’ campaign for last year’s Rugby World Cup was the first commercial use of Equal Experts’ patent-pending Bluetoothtap technology. The technology works with both Android and iOS handsets, allowing O2 to give away 50,000 Official England Rugby shirts during the World Cup, via a secure, frictionless mechanic far superior to previous solutions like QR codes, or numeric codes.

Mobile/Tablet Customer Facing App: Also for our work on O2 Priority. Equal Experts was O2’s delivery partner for the nominated app, which is the only loyalty programme rated ★★★★★ by App Store customers (iOS), and is also rated ★★★★ in the Google Play Store.

Our thanks to O2 for the opportunity to collaborate on these exciting projects, and to the MOMA judges for shortlisting the work. We look forward to the final award ceremony on 18th May.
