It was an evening of celebration for two of our clients (and for us!), with Co-op winning five awards at the Big Chip Awards and Hermes winning one at the Computing Digital Technology Leaders Awards.
Co-op bags five
The Big Chip Awards are held in Manchester and celebrate excellence in digital and technology across the north. Co-op came away with a phenomenal five awards for its work on Shifts and Funeralcare. Co-op Food’s Shifts won Best Mobile Application, Best User Experience and the Anthony Wilson Award (decided by the special guest each year, in this case Martha Lane Fox). Funeralcare won the Big Chip Transformation Award and the Grand Prix Award (given to the entry that impressed the most).
We’ve been working with Co-op for several years now on Funeralcare and more recently on Shifts, so it’s enormously satisfying to see everyone involved rewarded for their hard work.
Hermes delivers
In London, it was the turn of Hermes at the Digital Technology Leaders Awards, an event that was founded to recognise the achievements of those working “at the coal face of the digital technology stack”.
Hermes won Digital Team of the Year for its digital transformation programme, in which we have been involved in several key areas for over a year. Well deserved!
A winning formula
Congratulations to both Co-op and Hermes (and to all the other winners) for their awards, and indeed to all those shortlisted.
Co-op Food’s Shifts and Co-op Funeralcare, and Hermes’ transformation programme, are great examples of how ambitious clients, great ideas, a collaborative approach and hard work can ultimately make a real difference to customers. We’ve loved working on these projects and look forward to what the next year holds.
