Congratulations to our very own Bethan Timmins, who was shortlisted for an award for Outstanding Transformation (SME) in this year’s Women in IT Excellence Awards.
The awards were held last night, and although she didn’t win, we think that being shortlisted is worth celebrating.
It was well deserved. Over a period of 18 months, Bethan led a transformation project within a major department of the UK government. She defined the vision for the work then led nine agile teams to rehome 68 legacy applications in the cloud. Such an ambitious project couldn’t have happened without her dedication and tenacity.
It was a memorable evening. Bethan said:
“I was immensely proud to even be nominated, let alone shortlisted. I want to thank everyone who I work with for opening doors and breaking those glass ceilings. I feel extremely blessed to be part of the Equal Experts family and I’m over the moon!”
Not one to rest on her laurels, Bethan’s now heading up the establishment of a new office for Equal Experts – in Australia.
Congratulations to all the winners – and thanks to the Women in IT Excellence Awards for a fantastic evening and for shortlisting Bethan.
