I’m excited and humbled to share the news that Equal Experts has been awarded 2nd place in the prestigious Glassdoor Best Places to Work 2025, with 99% recommending us. This consolidates the ranking we were awarded last year, putting us in the top 5 for two years in a row.
Of all the awards we could have received, this one means a lot, especially following our announcement in 2024 that Equal Experts was becoming 100% employee-owned.
When Ryan Sikorsky and I founded Equal Experts, we had a vision of creating a different kind of consultancy. We wanted a place where the most experienced software engineers and designers could work with less politics, less hierarchy and more autonomy. Our goal was to create a community of experts who could learn from each other and have genuine relationships based on trust.
There is a lot more for us to figure out, but this award shows we’re making great progress in becoming an organisation where talented people want to work – and keep coming back!
Unlike some workplace awards and lists, Glassdoor’s ranking is based entirely on reviews supplied by employees and associates. So it’s especially great to read reviews that show how many of our people appreciate and share our founding principles and values. Here’s what one EE team member wrote, which captures our philosophy perfectly:

Our customers are an essential part of what makes our network function – and how we work with them shapes who we are in many ways and here’s a review that captures this:
