Equal Experts on the road sharing their expertise with the Australian market

It’s been a busy few months for the Equal Experts team, as we hit the road to attend multiple events across NSW and ACT.

Throughout October and November, Equal Experts Australia and New Zealand joined a team of other leading organisations in attending and sponsoring three outstanding events; Tech in Gov, FST Government Australia, and the Forrester Technology and Innovation summit APAC.

We were honoured to share the stage with an impressive line-up of innovative organisations and technology leaders including Koala Living, Tabcorp, T Bank, Commonwealth Bank, the Australian Government and Service NSW.

We are proud to say, Equal Experts not only shared their technology expertise, but through our charity donation giveaway, we also raised a total of $950 across our chosen charities – Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders), Save the Children and Beyond Blue – by donating on behalf of attendees.

Through a combination of round-table discussions, networking alongside industry leaders and organic conversations with technology pioneers, we tackled a multitude of prevalent topics and gained invaluable insights into the current complex business challenges being overcome by Australian, technology first companies.

A snapshot of the prevalent topics being discussed included:

  • Digital response to Covid-19 and the exit from the pandemic
  • How to create and execute a value-driven technology strategy
  • Emerging technologies and innovation
  • What high-performance leadership looks like
  • Modern approaches to architecture and operations
  • What is the business value of technology, talent and leadership

From these topics, the key takeaways our team took from these great collaboration opportunities where the following:

  • Digital centred approaches are no longer the sole strategic application of resourcing.
  • To be successful in tomorrow’s business landscape, a mix of digital first and human centred design will define success.
  • The question that businesses need to ask themselves – “How can we invest in digital in ways that put the internal or external customer first and moves us closer to their current challenges?”

If you can appropriately address this challenge, your efforts will provide unprecedented return on investment.

A great example of this is investment in digital platforms that will allow delivery teams to be inspired by the technology ecosystem they work within, rather than impeded by it.

A huge thank you to everyone who visited us at these fantastic events, for all of the great conversations you inspired, and for helping us on our mission raising funds for an incredible cause.

Our next big event will be the /NEW conference in March 2023, and we look forward to more collaborative opportunities and insightful conversations then.
